1. What is precision CNC machining?
CNC machining refers to the process of machining parts on a CNC machine. It is a machining method that uses digital information to control the displacement of parts and tools. It is an effective way to solve the problems of variable parts, small batches, complex shapes and high precision, and to achieve high efficiency and automatic processing.
CNC precision machining refers to the parts to be machined. After CNC machining, a more precise dimensional tolerance is obtained, usually around 0.005-0.01mm. This requires the correct processing equipment. Whether it is precision or size, fixtures and the overall processing process must be designed to be more accurate and reasonable.
Features of CNC precision machining
At first, the precision CNC machine tool selected aircraft parts with complex contours as the processing target, which solved the key problems that were difficult to solve by ordinary processing methods.
The biggest feature of cnc processing is the use of perforated belts (or belts) to control the machine for automatic processing. Because aircraft, rockets and engine parts have different characteristics: aircraft and rockets are zero, the components are large in size and complex in shape; the engine is zero, the components are small in size and high in precision.
Therefore, the CNC machine tools selected by the aircraft, rocket manufacturing sector and engine manufacturing sector are different. In aircraft and rocket manufacturing, large-scale CNC milling machines with continuous control are mainly used, while in engine manufacturing, there are both continuous-controlled CNC machine tools and point-controlled CNC machine tools (such as CNC drilling machines, CNC boring machines, etc.). machines, machining centers, etc.).
The main features we can summarize are as follows:
Process concentration
CNC machine tools generally have tool rests and tool magazines, which can automatically change tools. The tool change process is automatically executed by program control. Therefore, the process is relatively centralized. Process concentration brings huge economic benefits:
(1) Reduce machine footprint and save factory.
(2) Reduce or not reduce intermediate links (such as intermediate inspection of semi-finished products, temporary storage, etc.), saving time and manpower.
automation
During CNC machining, there is no need to manually control the tool, and the degree of automation is high. The benefits are obvious.
(1) Reduced operator requirements:
Advanced workers of general-purpose machine tools cannot be trained in a short period of time, and CNC workers who do not need programming have a short training time (for example, CNC mechanics need a week, and simple machining programs are also written). Moreover, the parts machined by CNC machine tools on CNC machine tools are more precise than those machined by ordinary workers on conventional machine tools, which saves time.
(2) Reduce the labor intensity of workers: CNC workers are excluded from the processing process most of the time, which is very labor-saving.
(3) Stable product quality: The machining automation of CNC machine tools eliminates human errors, carelessness, estimation and other human errors on ordinary machine tools, and improves product consistency.
(4) High processing efficiency: CNC machine tools automatically change tools, making the processing process compact and improving labor productivity.
high flexibility
Although traditional general-purpose machine tools are flexible, their efficiency is low; while traditional special-purpose machines are highly efficient, they have poor adaptability to parts, poor rigidity, and poor flexibility, making it difficult to adapt to the fierce competition in the market economy. Products are frequently modified. As long as the program is changed, new parts can be processed on the CNC machine tool, and the operation can be automated, flexible and efficient, so the CNC machine tool can adapt to market competition.
strong ability
Machine tools can precisely machine various contours, some of which cannot be machined on ordinary machine tools. CNC machine tools are especially suitable for the following occasions:
1) Scrap parts are not allowed.
2) New product development.
3) The processing of parts is urgently needed.
